New article on FiloTabù.
My new contribution has just been published on FiloTabù:
Guerra e clima non sono sfere separate (War and climate are not separate spheres).
In this piece I explore a crucial issue of our time: the deep interconnection between armed conflicts and the climate crisis. These two phenomena are often treated as if they belonged to different domains, yet they are tightly intertwined in ways that can no longer be ignored.
War does not only cause immediate destruction — it also leaves ecological scars that increase the vulnerability of territories and communities. At the same time, climate change generates new geopolitical tensions and exacerbates existing inequalities. To understand these dynamics, we need to move beyond separate narratives and recognise how environmental and military processes feed into one another.
